Global Hack Week takes place throughout the year to give you a chance to complete technical challenges, network with the community, enjoy fun live sessions, build technical projects, and make new memories.

Who is GHW for?
Global Hack Week is for anyone ready to level-up their hacking skills. We welcome all programmers, designers, artists, and hackers from around the globe to join us for these events. Whether this is day 1 or day 1000 of your hacker journey, we want you to join us!

Who organized Global Hack Week?
Global Hack Week is organized by Major League Hacking (MLH). It is our mission to empower hackers worldwide by providing them with the tools, resources, and opportunities they need to succeed.
Requirements
Your challenge submission must be completed within the submission period.
When relevent, your code must be available in some sort of public repository.
If you're continuing work on an old project, you MUST specify in your Devpost what was worked on 1) Before this day of Global Hack Week and 2) During this day of Global Hack Week.

Create a website that allows users to buy and sell goods using cryptocurrency.
Blockchain Transaction Simulation
Challenge participants to create a simplified simulation of blockchain transactions. Participants should design a program that mimics the process of creating transactions, adding them to blocks, and validating them using basic consensus mechanisms like proof-of-work or proof-of-stake.
Voting System
Develop a secure voting system on the blockchain that allows users to cast votes. Submit your app to us here!
Web3 Gaming
Develop a blockchain-based game that incorporates NFTs, decentralized ownership, or in-game economies using smart contracts.
Token Wallet tracker
Build a wallet that let's folks manage and track their cryptocurreincies across different blockchains.
Use a Web3 API
Hack with any Web3 API of your choosing.

Web3j is a Java and Android library for working on the Ethereum network. Utalize it to build an app and submit on Devpost.

Integrating a Web3 wallet, such as MetaMask, into a basic web application. Explore adding features like allowing users to connect their wallets, retrieve account information, and interact with a simple smart contract.

Create a platform where users can track their donations and see how funds are used.

Build an Ethereum app by following the tutorial and submit on Devpost!
Create a Smart Contract
